Cailtin and Devan were wed at the beautiful St. John Neumann Catholic Church in West Austin. After the ceremony, guests gathered at Camp Lucy in Dripping Springs for cocktails, lawn games, and an amazing dinner, served family-style. Caitlin changed into an impromptu reception-dress for the first dance, and finished out the night with drinks, dancing, and a send off from Ian’s chapel.
The day was full of personal touches and nods to family history, with family keepsakes and traditions incorporated at every turn: the wedding cake was “peanut butter-and-jelly” flavored and included Devan’s mother’s home-made plum jam (one of his favorite childhood treats); Caitlin’s veil was worn by both her grandmother and mother before her; the diamond in Caitlin’s ring once belonged to Devan’s great grandmother; and even Caitlin’s shoes were the same pair her mother wore for her wedding.
Thanks again Caitlin and Devan—we had a blast!
